Ang ganda. Total defense/attack mode talaga ang ABS-CBN Kapamilya. I have nothing against them — it’s just weird. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: Do not let a corporation (like ABS-CBN or GMA) dictate WHO you are, what you should like and how you should think. Hi my name is Pipay — I’m a “kapamilya”. Hi, I’m Popoy — I’m a “kapuso”. Hahaha. You are what you are, and you should make decisions for yourselves. I’m encouraging everyone to be independent thinkers. Who the hell cares if ABS-CBN or GMA is #1. Pinapakakain ba nila kayo? If ABS-CBN is #1, does it elevate your position in Philippine society somehow? Terrible news for the kapamilya: no.
What some of the posters on the Pinoy Big Brother post don’t realize is, that show is just a blip in the greater scheme of things from where I am. I’ve only posted about it once, and yet there have been many replies, pro-GMA and pro-ABS with a generous amount of personal attacks on my person. Some may think it is a sign of popularity, but all it means is: napaka-fanatic ninyo. Kahit nananahimik ako rito sa blog ko, nanggugulo kayo.
It has come to my attention that some of the kamilyas have done research and have been posting bad things across my different blogs. I know who you are — I know the types of people who visit me. Obvious kayo. This saddens me, because only when I talked about the Philippines (and the Pope — hahaha) have I been attacked with this much fury. I understand that not everybody is like this, but the “Kapamilya-fanaticism” signature is clear as day.
