Ok, that was too dramatic for me.

It’s not the end of the world Chuck. I don’t think your father will consider you a failure. Being the winner of StarStruck shouldn’t be your measurement for success as a person. It’s a competition I know, and it hurts to lose. But things like this are beyond your control — and if you let these things dictate your self-worth, then you will be forever be miserable, guaranteed. Mahal ka pa rin ng pamilya mo diba? What made you think that they will love you even less because you didn’t win StarStruck? I think this is the more important than winning — that you will discover, win or lose your family and those who love you are still behind you.

You are already blessed to find yourself where you are. Thousands of Filipino youth could only dream of what has happened to you over the past few months. That’s something to be proud of right there.

Notes: To the Chuck fans, please don’t blame Gian. I think you should blame Jana. Hindi malakas ang chemistry nina Chuck at Jana kaya sila na tsugi. If Chuck was partnered with Iwa, sure na pasok siya, pero naging Marky-Iwa, so sorry. In fairness, maganda ang team-up nina Gian at Jackie. In fact interesting pa dahil GF ni Gian si Megan, so magandang intriga in the future diba? Ang mahirap lang kina Marky at Iwa, parang pang-solo silang dalawa. However, I think a Marky-Jana loveteam would have been catastrophic for StarStruck. Since may “history” naman sina Chuck at Jana, sila ang pinag-sama. Unfortunately, kahit lumabas na ang baho ni Iwa complete with “you are not in my final four” from the council, hindi pa rin siya matalo ni Jana.

Ows? I’m sorry Iwa, but you just proved once and for all that you don’t deserve it. Wala ka pang na-po-prove, diva ka na bigla? Ano ba ang ginawa mo sa buhay mo na nagmamayabang ka na bigla? And if you can’t take the teasing of Gian Carlos, paano ka na pag-pumasok na ang intriga ng mga tabloid? Ay naku. Bad move, dug your own grave, etc.

Ok, this was mega-painful to watch ha? I felt very guilty watching this supposed intimate moment ng mag-ina. I just wanted to leave them alone. Anyway, hopefully the dramatics will help “Choco Joko” get more fans (and votes). Rockstar pala talaga siya. Sana Gian Carlos joins Marky Cielo in the Final 4.

Ay naku, iyakan na naman. Just a word of advice to all our wonderful kaisips here in Pinoy Rickey: You don’t need to be on a show like StarStruck to tell your parents how much you love them OK? In fact, bago kayo mag-comment, I strongly urge you to stand up from your computer, or pick up your cellphone, and call your mother or father or tatay or nanay or mommy or daddy and tell them “I Love You”.

Kaya Jana, now that we know you are bitter about your father, I refuse to be part of your plan to win StarStruck just to show your father how much of a bastard he is for leaving you. We all have sob stories, it’s how we handle it that shows our character. I’m not phased by all this iyakan. Although they did show a clip of Gian Carlos crying for tomorrow’s show — and since I’m a fan of Gian, baka ma-iyak din ako. Haha. Biased talaga.

And so, eto na lang. Vivo and Johan and Arci on Eat Bulaga…

Whatever they are showing this week should have been shown last week. I realize now that they are having logistic issues because the survivors are traveling around the country — it would have taken a day or two to travel from place to place. However, sana lang mas-substantial yung mga challenges last week dahil nakatigil ng momentum ang nangyari.

Seeing throngs of people cheering Marky has gotten me a little bit excited again. (Although seriously, I think the Gian Carlos fans in Iloilo will be even louder. Feeling ko lang.)
