In the end, sobra akong natawa na si Vivo Ouano ang best dancer ni Douglas. Apparently dancing ability has nothing to do with his judgement. Sige na Vivo, panalo ka na. It looks like it is your destiny.

Unfortunately, I cannot make a complete post because I missed the last 2 minutes of this episode. Mukhang all week naman siguro ‘to so bawi na lang tomorrow. Nevertheless some observations:

I’m so happy that you got your acting award. It just goes to show, that even if you are not the most popular, if you work hard, you will be rewarded. The StarStruck crew can go overboard since they are producing a television show, but it was nice to see that your hard work did not go unnoticed. It seems to me that they would rather keep you, than let’s say someone who doesn’t try (or has no more ability to) like Sara. That being said, you know that you still have a lot of work to do in order to win. Kung maipakita mo na ikaw ang pinaka-talented sa lahat ng girls, I think that is the ticket to your success. The audience is not stupid, they will see talent when they see it. However, you still have a long way to go to have that reputation as “the most talented”, kaya pagbutihin mo na lang in everything you do. At layuan mo na si Jackie — she obviously doesn’t like you, and if she wants to be the bad girl, let her. Try to create stronger bonds with Vivo (specially — kung ikaw ang maging ka love team niya, di ok na ok ka na) and Iwa. As they said, keep your friends close, but your enemies closer. Alam naman nating lahat na si Iwa ang front runner. I think you appeal most to an older demographic like parents with young children, and young girls who can look up to you as a big sister. Try not to go for the patweetums crowd that Iwa and Jackie have cornerned. Go for the other people who will be more than willing to vote for you. That’s why it is important to be close to Iwa. Her fans will wonder kung bakit kayo naging best friends and ayun, napansin ka na. Also, I like the way that you are playing down the Isokolar ng Bayan card. Unfortunately, we are targetting a mass audience so if you show that you are superior to them, it is a big turn off. Your intelligence will show naman in the things you do, your work ethic, etc. Unless of course, party girl ka pala talaga, in which case you have to force yourself to follow your “image”. Mahirap makipag-compete with Iwa and Jackie in their strengths. Instead of trying to be “like them” because that is what is appealing, create your own identity. Ok naman yung advice diba?

And while we’re at it, puwede favor? Can you give some people a message from me? Hahaha. First of all, please tell Bugz Daigo not to lose hope. We can still correct this predicament he is in. I don’t know if you guys are allowed to ask questions, but encourage him to ask questions kung hindi niya naiintidihan ang gagawin. Also, sabihin mo sa kanya na makipagbati na siya kay Marky, Gian at Vivo (specially — since he is the golden boy). I think it is impossible to save the Vivo relationship, but he can still form stronger bonds with Marky and Gian. Meron pa siya sigurong 2 weeks, kaya maganda rin na makitang close sila. Also, kung tanungin uli siya ng personal questions, paki-print na lang ito para mamemorize niya:

Sino sa tingin mo ang kailangan matanggal?
Bugz: Sa boys po si Vivo, dahil siya ang may pinaka-malakas na appeal sa aming lahat, para may chance naman kami. (This is a good answer because it is straight to the point, without insulting Vivo. And he did not implicate Marky who is his friend. Importante sa Philippine culture ang loyalty, kaya no more betrayal.)
Bugz: So girls po hindi ko alam, pero dalawang beses na si Rea naging pasaway, kaya baka gusto na nila siyang paalisin. (Safe answer. No harm done. If you also get this question, Rea ang sagot mo.)

Also, just tell him to do his best. And according to direk Quark, palambutin niya ang kanyang facial expressions (and smile more) — tingnan mo si Chuck.

For Marky Cielo, tell him he is on the right track, but like you, it will be a slow process to finally topple the front-runner, in this case Vivo. I think he can definitely overtake Vivo if he can show once and for all that he is the more talented boy. I thought that it is possible that Vivo has zero talent, but I don’t think StarStruck will allow Vivo to fall by the wayside like that. I was going to give this advice to Johan, pero since na-eliminate na siya, kay Marky na lang. It would be a good idea if he can be visibly linked to a couple of girls. Maybe Jackie, you, Rea, even Jana. (Ay maganda yun, pinapagawayan niyo ngayon si Marky.) Although ok din with Iwa. In fact, I think a Marky-Iwa loveteam would guarantee a win. Whatyathink? Anyway, maganda din na lumabas ang ladies’ man bad boy appeal ni Marky, para mawalan na ng bisa ang appeal nina Gian at Vivo. Go Marky!

For Gian Carlos (sorry ang dami ha, pero ok din yun para maging close ka to the boys, but not too close — remember Rea)… please tell him to practice Tagalog in his hotel room religiously. It’s the only way. Baka masapawan pa siya ni Chuck if he doesn’t get better.
