Of course, it’s the best way to get eliminated — when you don’t see it coming. This show is so brutal, and its going to get worse. Although this early, I can sense that it will be Sara Larsson next week. Notice na deadma lang siya when she was in the bottom 3 — nawalan na yata ng gana. Let’s see how disasatrous she will be on the dance floor — it’s actually something to look forward to. Haha. Galingan mo Sara! Entertain us.

For this week, mali na naman ang prediction ko, which goes to show that I’m the perfect audience for this show because I don’t know what’s coming. I felt so bad for our boy Bugz, he was visibly shaken. And what’s up with Rea? Pasaway siya dahil close siya sa mga boys? Pero after tonight, may image na siya, so she’s well on her way to the top three or something.

All together now: Marky! Marky! Marky! Mukhang mahihirapan si Vivo sa galing ng batang ‘to. Just like what Melanie Marquez’ entourage said about Marky, habang tumatagal naging cute siya. Sana padami ng padami ang fans niya every week to topple Gian’s and Vivo’s hordes.

Sara: the dreamer. Mukhang kailangan nang maging avenger si Sara. And to think I’m one of her loyal fans. It is now painfully obvious that she’s all-face with nothing else to offer, even work ethic. Her novelty has run out on me I think. Unless she goes into another break down next week… on the dance floor diba?

Note to Iwa: When you act ‘autistic’ to show that you are a nerd talking to your nedry girlfriends, you look like an autistic and not a nerd. This approach should have been corrected. Also, Iwa reminded me of a kinder, nicer and gentler Gelli de Belen.

— Fearless Prediction —
The editing has been turned heavily against Bugz and I am inclined to choose him. However he has so many things still going for him, such as still being the only guy representing the Cebu viewers, and secondly, he is now so controversial sayang naman yung storyline na nangyayari. I believe GMA will be smart and keep him for a couple of weeks. Which leaves me with my usual crop to choose from: Johan, Arci, Jana and Sara. Ang hirap. There are so many scenarios. Pero, sige na nga: Jana will be eliminated.

Starring: Jackie Rice and Vivo Ouano

May konting talent si Vivo! All is not lost, puwede pa rin siyang manalo. Although, ito ang pinaka-tinipid na production. It only had two scenes: inside the car, na two-shot lang yata, and the walk up to the door.

Dyahe (10 MB)
Starring: Arci Munoz and Bugz Daigo

According to direk, si Bugz may ‘sablay’ (and then laughs). Ok, thank you for being insensitive to the more than 50% of the population who have ‘sablay’ when they speak Tagalog. I’m sure may sablay ka rin pag-magbisaya ka Quark. Hahaha, I’m bitter. Bugz was not that bad. Meanwhile, umiyak si Arci on one take. Despite direk’s protestations, so far the best acted short in the series.

Magaling ang casting ng Struck Flicks, and even Jackie commented that medyo true-to-life and iksena niya. Hindi ba niya gusto yon? Instant motivation na siya. Don’t resist Jackie. Tomorrow, fantasy-oriented. Medyo alien-life form yata ang role ni Sara… at may green chroma screen pa!

Suspense/Romance

Rosa Mia (7.5 MB)
Starring Jana Roxas and Johan Santos

Ang rating ko dito very poor. Johan unfortunately belongs to the shouting school of acting that simply just doesn’t work for every single line he was saying. Jana meanwhile plays twin sisters Rosa and Mia, which was commendable, but very bland and monotone.

Pangga Ko Si Ate (7.5 MB)
Starring Rea Nakpil and Gian Carlos

Grabe this was the funniest thing ever! I haven’t laughed this hard since the Panday cellphone episodes. In fact, this was downright funny from beginning to end. Who knew that the train-wreck appeal of Gian would be so irresistible. This actually works because totoy na totoy si Gian in every aspect (acting style, etc.) and Rea is very mature, which was how the script was going anyway. Good job direk.

In fairness, mahirap gumawa ng 5-minute short. You need a tight script and great acting to pull it off.

This episode of StarStruck was very entertaining. I can’t wait for the other flicks!
