Where to begin? Makulay talaga ang mundo. In this handful of people, madami ka nang mapupulot na intriga.
First up, Vivo: may talent ka ba? Of course, yes. Marunong akong mag-gitara. Sino ang nagsabi sa yong wala kang talent? Si Bugz po, sinabihan niya kami ni Jeric na hindi kami marunong magsayaw at wala kaming talent. Hahaha. That’s too funny on so many levels.
So Vivo hates Bugz. Gian thinks Bugz is plastic. And Marky’s fans (although not he himself) are angry at Bugz. Bugz! Ano na ang nangyayari?! E-mail mo ako, bibigyan kita ng tips. Hahaha. At least interesting ka na ngayon.
I’m surprised hindi tinanong kay Chuck ang “gay issue” — and instead they went for the Jana-Chuck-Mark Herras text-love-triangle. Hmmm. Boring.
Rea… super-pasaway. Really? Ok. Parang mas natural fit sa bad girl si Vaness kaysa kay Rea. I think they are trying to push something here because Rea is boring but is a good actress (just a guess). I’m hoping that she does a memorable performance so she doesn’t have this artifical pasaway branding dangling on top of her head.
Marky and Johan meanwhile lost their girlfriends because of the show. If you’re going to have a problem, that’s a good one to have. Though a bit safe, at least not potentially career threatening like Bugz’s isolationist issues (Vaness and Jeric already left and we pretty much know why — everyone hated them).
Arci and Jackie are feuding. Nice. Contra talaga sa isa’t isa ang sinabi nila. It’s one of those classic cases where they’ve both said so much on the issue, neither of them knows what the truth is already.
Sara breaks down at the one-year old sex tape scandal.
Gian puts his foot down and says he will not talk to his parents who abandoned him. Good for you. Screw them.
And finally, Iwa breaks down at the multiple intrigues that I cannot decipher.
So far the story line is workable, considering what they have now. What I would really want is for them to show the survivors interacting with each other, instead of interviews on what happened. It would have been great TV to see Bugz tell Vivo na wala siyang talent in front of his face. Or have cameras follow Arci and Jackie to their parties and see exactly who is lying.
