O sige na nga. The only reason I am posting Maricris here is because siya yung nanalo for the night. But it wasn’t beautiful, it was a disaster. LOL
Actually I’m kinda rooting for Miguel and John Louie, pero Miguel should really stop singing Spandau Ballet songs. I like Spandau Ballet, but it’s really hard for me to get excited over “Gold”. Miguel is not auditioning to be the new lead singer of Spandau, he’s competing to the next Pinoy Pop Superstah. And apparently, John Louie is also getting advice that he is a rocker. No. He even sang “You Give Love a Bad Name” — which Blake Lewis just sang on American Idol last Tuesday. I’m sure, that’s the reason he sang that. Mahilig yata kasi ang Pinoy ng “retaliatory” song selection, as if to show they can sing better. Regine has done it time and time again and failed miserably — etong mga baguhan pa kaya? I remember when Teen Pop Sensation Sanjaya Malakar sang “Knocks Me Off My Feet” by Stevie Wonder, both ASAP and SOP had Stevie Wonder medleys featuring that song the next weekend. Asar.
This batch of finalists really worry me. Sana may konting libog ng konti — it’s so flat and boring. I know I may sound incoherent at times, pero I think I’m the voice of reason here. I mean if they didn’t eliminate Reydan a few weeks ago, ang dami na sanang nanonood ng PPS ngayon. People aren’t looking for “songers” these days, they are looking for personality.

Bad news. I cannot record on my computer. A software update from Apple has crippled my recording software. There is no solution yet — except a complete re-install of my system to original factory settings — and not to apply any updates. That pretty much sucks. Will mull this over for a bit.
Sorry, I’m already delayed and I can’t even do anything right now. *Sob*
Update: I’m trying some work arounds now… hope it works.
