Well, that didn’t take long for the story to completely break down did it? Diyos ko, I didn’t realize I was being generous when I said Week 3 pa magkakagulo ang istorya ng Rounin — it’s already happening! Waaaa.
Again, the rest of the scenes from the trailer are used up in this second episode. Nice.
Just a few questions:
1. Why the fascination for the Rounin? They seem to be assholes and not noble heroes.
2. Why is Agot semi-blind?
3. Who are these new Rounin? Wala man lang back story, basta na lang sumulpot. How are we supposed to sympathize with them if we don’t know who they are?
4. So nakakalipad pala sila na parang si Neo in the Matrix — bakit hindi sila lumipad palagi? Or gusto lang nila ipakita na kaya nilang gayahin ang porma ng Matrix? What was that for? Ay naku, all style, no substance. I hate this kind of stuff.
5. There was also a scene with an alien-slug. So what was that for? Why spend numerous hours making a computer generated slug which does nothing to forward the story?
Parang hindi ko yata kakayanin. It was so boring and the sound is dreadful. The only interesting part was the scene with the kids — and that’s going to be Rayver in a few days. Nooooo.
Aubrey Miles is an inspired casting as far as look is concerned, pero wala man lang ka-mo-motivation ang character niya. So ang purpose niya ay lusubin ang Lumeria? Ganun na lang ba yun? She doesn’t even say anything. Ay naku. Bad, bad, bad.
Verdict: I don’t think I will survive one week of this nonsense. Alien-slug looks better than Panday’s Bakunawa. Diether still sucks. Go Jhong!
