Gerald Santos on SOP. Regine Velasquez says she will not leave GMA. Unfortunately this did not improve the singing of Janno Gibbs and Ogie Alcasid. Grabe, I think we should elevate Pinoy singing to a higher level than this. I don’t know which is more annoying Janno’s attempts at sounding like a rocker or Ogie’s voice which has deteriorated — para na siyang kinakatay na pusa.

Sorry guys, I’ve been so delinquent. I’ve been recording everything: Marimar, Maging Sino Ka Man and Zaido, but when I sat down to process all the video today, I just realized that I can’t do this anymore. I’m just too busy now blogging on rickey.org. If I had an assistant maybe, but I’m on my own and I’m just physically not able to do this. ABS execs to be charged for ULTRA stampede (GMA News)
Nakatakdang magsampa ng mga kaso ang state prosecutors laban sa ilang opisyales at empleyado ng ABS-CBN Brodcasting Corp. kaugnay ng ULTRA stampede na naganap sa first anniversary ng noontime show na Wowowee noong February 4, 2006, kung saan 74 na katao ang namatay at marami pang iba ang nasaktan.
Ang mga kasong isasampa ng Department of Justice (DOJ) laban sa ilang executives ng ABS-CBN ay reckless imprudence resulting in multiple homicide at multiple physical injuries.
Ang desisyon na ito ay naganap matapos ibasura ng DOJ ang motion for reconsideration ng ABS-CBN upang pigilan ang paghahain ng criminal charges.
Kabilang sa sasampahan ng kaso sina ABS-CBN Executive Vice President Charo Santos-Concio at Senior Vice President Cory Vidanes, ang Head of Security na si Cipriano Luspo.
Kasama rin ang staff ng Wowowee na sina Morly Stewart Nuevo, executive producer; Harold James Nuevo, assistant producer; Norbert Vidanes, director; Francisco Rivera, location manager; Mel Feliciano, assistant director; Jean Owen Garcia, floor director; Rey Cayabyab, at assistant location manager; at ang Ultralink Goldlink Security Services, Inc.

QC court issues TRO vs ABS-CBN in ratings tussle
A Quezon City court has barred ABS-CBN Broadcasting Corp. from airing allegedly defamatory statements against rival GMA Network Inc.
QC Regional Trial Court Branch 95 Judge Henri Paul Inting granted GMA Network’s request for a temporary restraining order against ABS-CBN, which has accused GMA Network as the brains behind alleged manipulation of television ratings in Bacolod City, Cebu, Davao and Iloilo.
?In order to protect the interests of both parties and prevent grave injustice and irreparable injury to the status of the plaintiff as a network should it be determined later that the plaintiff is not the manipulator or the cause of manipulation of TV ratings, the court hereby issues a temporary restraining order,” Judge Inting said in his 5-page order.
GMA Network requested the TRO to stop ABS-CBN from repeatedly airing statements it deemed defamatory. The statements were originally aired on various ABS-CBN programs on Jan. 5, 6, 7 and 12 .
The TRO was sought after GMA Network P15-million damage suit against ABS-CBN.
How could I have missed this? Anyway. I’m glad that a judge has issued a restraining order to ABS-CBN’s blatant black propaganda against GMA in the guise of news.

Mabilis na kumalat ang balita sa attempted suicide diumano ng singer-actor na si Jay-R Siaboc na ang dahilan diumano ay ang girlfriend nito at dating kasamahan sa Pinoy Dream Academy na si Irish Fullerton. Isang nylon cord daw ang ginamit ni Jay-R sa tangka niyang pagpapakamatay sa kanyang inuupahang condominium.
“ANO AKO, SIRA?” Mariing itinanggi ni Jay-R sa TV host/columnist ng Remate na si Ogie Diaz na nagtangka siyang magpakamatay. Hindi raw niya sasayangin ang kanyang buhay.
“Bakit ko naman gagawin ?yon? Ano ako, sira?” reaksiyon ni Jay-R.
Nagtataka si Jay-R kung saan at kanino nanggaling ang balita sa tangka niyang pagpapakamatay.
I’m still worried. It really isn’t a smear campaign if someone knows you tried committing suicide. The effect is actually the opposite: People will be more concerned about your well-being.
